Doing business has increasingly become more difficult with the economic conditions in Asia having grown patchy. Besides the constraints of global sluggishness, businesses have to grapple with shortened business cycles and the operational challenges in cross-cultural traits, increasingly complex employment conditions, decrease in training aptitude, tough negotiating climate and finicky consumer preferences.

These factors combine to present monumental obstacles in the businesses' quest for profitability.

What are the leadership qualities needed to negotiate an increasingly difficult business terrain? Mr Achal Agarwal, Asia Pacific President for Kimberly-Clark, one of the leading consumer companies in the world, will address the corporate mind-set needed to lead and succeed in the Asian marketplace.

Joining us to moderate the Q&A session is Professor Kulwant Singh, Department of Strategy and Policy, NUS Business School.
