2016 Asia Asset Management-CAMRI Prize in Asset Management Winner

In celebration of excellence in regional applied research, Asia Asset Management (AAM) aligned with NUS Business School's Centre for Asset Management Research and Investments (CAMRI) for the second year running to present the 2016 AAM-CAMRI Prize in Asset Management. We are now pleased to announce that the Winning Paper of the 2016 AAM-CAMRI Prize (from close to 60 excellent applications from the around the world) is entitled: Market Maturity and Mispricing. The Paper was authored by Heiko Jacobs (University of Mannheim). The 2016 Prize was awarded to Dr Jacobs at the AAM-CAMRI Prize dinner on November 16, 2016 at Mandarin Orchard Singapore. He also presented his research at the AAM-CAMRI ESG Forum on November 17, 2016.

CAMRI Visiting Fellow Programme (AY 2016/17)

CAMRI has developed an ongoing Visiting Fellow Programme across a broad range of financial economics topics. CAMRI is funding one-week visits by a few “Tier 1” scholars annually, particularly those from Hong Kong, China, India, and other countries in this region, working in Asian applied financial economics disciplines, to conduct research at CAMRI. A 1-page statement of interest is the only requirement.

2016 Asia Asset Management - CAMRI Prize in Asset Management

Asia Asset Management (AAM), in collaboration with the Centre for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI) at NUS Business School in Singapore, launched the Annual AAM-CAMRI Prize in Asset Management in 2015 to celebrate excellence in regional applied research. The Prize is worth US$15,000 and will be awarded to only one paper. Papers should be submitted by emailing to The closing date for submission is July 31, 2016, and the AAM-CAMRI Prize winner will be notified by September 16, 2016.

Call For Applied Finance Research Proposals (AY 2016/17)

CAMRI will continue to create and disseminate an applied finance research programme in the area of asset management and beyond through both direct and indirect support of NUS Business School’s faculty below the Full Professor rank. We are hence funding one applied finance research proposal of up to S$10,000 for AY 2016/17. The submission deadline is 30 June 2016.
