The Dean’s Scholarship of S$7,500 is a prestigious scholarship awarded annually for exceptional PhD students, and it is renewable every year. The selection of candidates will take place in August, in time for the start of the academic year.

Eligibility
The Scholarship is open to students of all nationalities who gain admission to Ph.D. programme in NUS Business School. This will be effective from August 2012 intake.

Application Procedure
All incoming Ph.D. candidates will automatically be eligible to apply for the Dean’s Scholarship.

Selection Criteria
Apart from the supporting documents required to be produced for the Ph.D. admission process, candidates interested in the Scholarship must in addition submit a personal essay describing their vision on enrolling in the PhD Program and why they think they would achieve that vision.

Notification of Award
Successful candidates will be informed of the outcome of their PhD applications sometime in June (for August intake).
