About the organizers
The Singapore International Conference on Finance 2012 is organized by the Center for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI) and the Department of Finance at NUS Business School, National University of Singapore.

Center for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI)

The Center for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI) was established in early 2009 in the NUS Business School with the aim of improving the performance of students, individuals and organizations in the Asian asset management industry by providing the highest quality study in investment management education and practice. CAMRI's goal is to be anchored in Asia but with close linkages to world-class Asian and global asset managers and institutions. CAMRI will achieve this goal by developing an excellent standard of skills, knowledge, and best practice in asset management through the study of quantitative, behavioral and fundamental analysis. Areas of research and education will include asset pricing theories, portfolio management, regulation, incentive-compatible compensation structures, information technology and systems. CAMRI's role is to educate, develop and sharpen students and practitioners into well-trained, high performing asset managers, and to embed them with a strong sense of integrity and responsibility. Given the growing importance of asset management in Asia, and in the wake of the recent financial crisis, CAMRI is uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between best theory and practice. CAMRI's primary aim is to better prepare our students for the industry, whilst cementing a closer relationship between our school and the financial industry.
